Creative technologist working at the seam between design and engineering. Over a decade spanning product and UX, front-end engineering, and high-end 3D and motion, most recently shipping production software and shaping AI strategy on a high-stakes manufacturing platform. I do my best work on intricate, first-principles problems where design taste and technical depth have to pull in the same direction.

Oqton

2023 – 2026

Design Specialist

  • Worked across design and engineering on MOS, Oqton’s Manufacturing Operating System, growing from branding into shipping production software and shaping product direction.
  • Product & UX: turned a genuinely complex operating system into interfaces usable daily by floor managers and machine operators, mapping workflows, roles and permissions into durable information architecture.
  • Front-end engineering: shipped features across a large TypeScript monorepo, including scheduling and planning views, process grouping and execution workflows, and the shared data logic behind them.
  • AI strategy: led adoption of generative AI across the business and defined where AI earns its place in MOS while keeping every suggestion reviewable and respecting existing approval gates and permissions.
  • Built the visual language that let engineers, PMs and designers communicate on the same playing field, measurably improving time to value.

Dyson

2015 – 2023

Lead Designer

  • Produced cutting-edge 3D animation across all current and future Dyson NPI categories on a Mac-based render farm, to increasingly short deadlines.
  • Built custom automated applications and scripts to streamline design-to-software handover, and prototyped designs on-device in Android Studio (Kotlin/Java) for senior stakeholder reviews.
  • Educated colleagues on motion principles and designing for how information moves and changes over time.

Senior Global Motion Graphics & 3D Designer

  • Aligned with the New Product Innovation team to conceptualise, develop and produce complex motion graphics and 3D visuals for future Dyson products.

Middleweight 3D Artist

  • Created emotive, detailed Dyson imagery and animation from engineering CAD data for use across global Dyson material.
